| Description |
Lactobacillus buchneri is a Gram-positive, non-spore forming, anaerobic, rod prokaryote. L. buchneri is a heterofermentative bacteria that produces lactic acid and acetic acid during fermentation. In a study, L. buchneri treatment improved the microbiota of weaning Rex rabbits and prevented diarrhoea in these animals.
