Description Mycoplasma mycoides is a facultatively anaerobic, Gram positive bacterium. This microorganism is a parasite that lives in ruminants. Mycoplasma mycoides comprises two subspecies, mycoides and capri, which infect cattle and small ruminants such as goats respectively.
